CAPTAIN JACK SPARROW´S SECRET TREASURE CHEST

               Today Captain Jack Sparrow has visited us and we have discovered many animals in his treasure chest. Students have sorted out all the animals in three groups:
             1) SEA ANIMALS
             2) WILD ANIMALS
             3) FARM ANIMALS

LET´S CLEAN UP!

We have started the second unit and students are learning the names of the polar animals and how to recycle all the garbage we, the humanbeing, generate.We are classifying the objects that the Captain Jack collects from the ocean in the corresponding containeer. First, we revise the name of the objects that appear in the story by means of flascards and students classify them in the corresponding containeer. Then, we practise the grammar structures we are interested in and finally, students stick their flascards in the corresponding containeer after colouring them. Ugghhh! A smelly pizza! The water is dirty and let´s clean up!

PIRATE SHIP POSTER HH4

We have started the second unit: Pirate ship. Students are learning the names of the clothes and the temperature expressions such as It´s very cold! and It´s very hot! First, we revise the names of the clothes with flashcards and we classify them according to the season or temperature they belong to. Then,we give them a flashcard to colour.When they finish, we ask them to classify their flashcards on the poster repeating the structures we want them to undersand.Soon, we will be able to see all the process on video.

JACK SPARROW´S VISIT

Jack Sparrow is a very brave pirate who introduces the unit to the students. He has got a parrot called Catain Jack annd it is the protagonist of all the stories we perform in class. He visited us in september.

PICTURE DICTIONARY HH5

We use the picture dictionary in the fifth level to introduce spelling to the little ones.

Here we have a new way to learn vocabulary by means of the picture dictionary.Students revise the flashcards with the teacher and then they copy the words with the correct spelling.

LET´S CLEAN UP

With Let´s Clean Up story students will learn the impact tha humanbeing actions have in our environment and animal habitats and they will sort  out all types of waste in recycling containers.Captain Jack Sparrow has visited us and he has introduced the topic talking about different sea, farm and wild animals.

HOW WE MAKE THE PUPPET THEATRE IN HH5 AND LH1

The puppet theatre is a good resource to learn the story. Students sit down on the floor with their poster and stickers and tell the story with the teacher.
